Our clients include charge point operators (CPO) and e-mobility service providers (MSP) in Europe. Our business is rapidly scaling up, with core markets in Benelux, DACH, France, UK and Poland, and further expansion throughout Europe.
Your role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to accelerate sales and growth within the Benelux region. You will closely collaborate with the Regional Director, assisting in executing account plans and market entry strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business, achieve sales targets, and ensure the success of our sales process. Your primary target customers will be CPOs and MSPs for both Greenfield as well as Brownfield opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets through account management, outbound sales, and proactive prospecting efforts.
- Managing the sales process from start to closure, including managing the sales pipeline, conducting client meetings and pitches, preparing quotes, negotiating contracts, and successfully closing deals.
- Defining and executing account plans for clients in the region, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Participating in marketing operations and events, expanding your professional network, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products and solutions to effectively address client needs.
- Utilizing Sales-Outbound or CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to manage customer data and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with management, clients, and other staff members to ensure successful collaboration and execution of sales strategies.
- Providing client input and guidance to other staff, including Support, Solutions, and Marketing teams, to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Staying well-informed about competition, competitive issues, and industry products to effectively position our offerings in the market.
You should identify with the following:
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and a strong drive for success.
- Excellent understanding of the market, competition, and rapid scaling businesses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of connecting with stakeholders, winning commitment, and gaining buy-in.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Benelux. Drivers license is a must.
- Network builder with a clear understanding of stakeholder interests.
- Self-starter, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English. French considered a plus.
