Your Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in enhancing the developer experience and boosting effectiveness across our rapidly expanding platform. Your role is pivotal in crafting and refining our development infrastructure to support and accelerate innovation.
You'll have the chance to work with state-of-the-art technologies and development methodologies. You'll be empowered to introduce new practices and methods to improve the way we build software, along with the autonomy to make strategic decisions that directly influence the stability and scalability of our development ecosystem, significantly contributing to accelerating innovation and and enhancing developer satisfaction.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- You'll collaborate on designing, implementing and maintaining the developer experience platform
- You'll work closely with software engineers to ensure they leverage the latest insight in the realm of developer productivity and DevOps
- Monitor system performance and key metrics, tracking developer productivity such as Innovation Lead Time, Time to Deployment, Change Fail Rate, and Mean Time to Recovery
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to accelerate our innovation speed
You Recognize Yourself In:
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD, Automated testing and working within a DevOps culture and mindset
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably PHP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of observability tools and practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Passion for automation, recognizing, analyzing and converting manual processes to automated ones
- Understanding of DORA metrics and their application in measuring team performance
- Ability to communicate effectively both with infrastructure and software engineers in a diverse international environment
- A team player that is willing to back up other team members' work, even when outside your comfort zone
- Incident Management based on a 24/7 rotation (on-call rotation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
