We're looking for a Head of Product to lead our product function in our Rotterdam office.

Your role:

As our Head of Product, leading a team of seven Product Managers, you'll be responsible for supporting their growth, as well as line management responsibilities, such as capability development and performance evaluations.

You'll collaborate and coach executive management to develop the product mindset within the organisation, with an initial focus on processes and communication. You'll maximise the autonomy and trust in the product teams to ensure a clear vision and strategy for their products while ensuring alignment with our company goals.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll play an important role in ensuring alignment between Last Mile Solutions goals and our underlying product vision and strategies.

Your responsibilities:

Product Team Management

• Day-to-day management of the product team, with a focus on career development, L&D, coaching and mentoring.
• Escalation point for the team e.g. prioritisation and roadmap items.
• Drive product strategy development by collaborating closely with Product Managers on drafting their strategies, ensuring organisational coherence and strategic alignment with the broader vision.

Product Portfolio Performance

• Translate company goals/targets into tangible outcome targets for the product function.
• Align with the product teams on the definition and tracking of product performance and outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact and manage key executive stakeholders to align strategic priorities.
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging industry trends and product opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Marketing, and Sales to strategically drive successful product launches and updates.

Your skills and experience:

• Experience managing a Product function within a scaling environment; previous experience within e-mobility or FinTech is a plus.
• Proven success in overseeing and leading Product Management for SaaS products.
• Strategic, analytical mindset coupled with brilliant problem-solving and communication skills. A passion for building high-performance teams based on trust and collaboration, with the ability to drive results through effective team leadership.
• Knowledge of business processes, drivers, and interdependencies across the organisation.
• Expertise in change management, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams through periods of change.
