We’re constantly growing and therefore we are focusing on optimizing processes and collaboration. We are currently searching for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Rotterdam.

Your role

As a Finance Assistant you are part of both the Finance as well as the Customer Care team. On a daily base you will be dealing specifically with customer queries that are financial in nature. You will be the bridge between our organization and partners.

To be successful in this position, you must be passionate about providing customer service as well as solving financial issues. You will thrive here if you are energized by solving real problems, not just ticking things off a list.

As we operate international, you will speak to clients alternately in Dutch and English.

What you will do

· You are the one handling tickets escalated by our Customer Care team with regards to financial issues. With your solution-oriented thinking you enter the process together with the customer to solve the problem as well and as quickly as possible.

· You investigate, analyze and fix problems. At the same time, you collaborate with different stakeholders from various teams to avoid certain issues or design processes more efficiently.

· You work via our ticket system (Jira and Salesforce) and assess requests for urgency and set the right priorities.

· Optimize the FAQ and other customer support channels.

· Investigate bigger and more complex support issues and where needed you collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments.

· Working on ad-hoc issues and projects (a.o. AI-Support implementation).

What you bring

· Financial administrative degree or relevant other.

· Minimal 3 years of working experience, ideally in a customer-facing role, ideally handling issues of financial nature.

· Knowledgeable of topics as billing and VAT (basic).

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

· Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.

· Skilled in working with IT-systems (Jira, Salesforce, Netsuite).

· You are a team player and enjoy absorbing and sharing knowledge.

· Analytically capable – you are able to problem solve and see problems from multiple perspectives.

· You live in the Rotterdam area.
